We begin each day with staff hul’q’umi’num classes and open each school day in a good way by gathering for traditional protocol. We close each week in community with song & dance. Revitalization of hul’q’umi’num language & Stz’uminus culture are the foundation of our work, and reciprocal relationship with the land is fundamental to creating our powerful learning environments. Working with Elders and Knowledge Keepers, our staff develop these skills and practices to in turn extend into the learning we offer and receive from our students.
We would love to explore how you can support Stz’uminus mustimuxw to lead the way on our journey as life-long learners through snuwuyulh, mustimuxw tsi’tsu watul, nu sti’ch & nutsamaat. Please send your application or expression of interest to careers@stzuminus.com.
